Bar Le National is a friendly English-owned bar in the French village of Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, which is located in the Portes-du-Soleil ski resort area. Open all year round, Le National attracts a very mixed crowd of local French and English speaking residents, and is very popular with holiday-makers during the Summer and Winter seasons.
Drink and be Merry!
The bar serves a wide variety of beverages, many of which are not normally found in France. These include imported Whiskies, British Ales and New World wines. We have a variety of tap beers including Kronenbourg, 1664, Carlsburg, Kilkenny and Guinness.
As to be expected, there is also a wide selection of traditional French drinks to try, from Pastis à Picon par Poire!

Bar Le National has a well deserved reputation for the quality and consistency of the food served in the bar.
Our main claim to fame is our Pizza menu, featuring a wide and various list of ingredients including dozens not
normally found on a pizza menu, including curries, and chutneys, meats prepared and marinated in-house, and as you would expect for France – a wide variety of cheeses.
We also serve simpler meals like a range of artistically renamed Panini’s and three different kinds of Nachos.
