Patrons at Bar Le National are never at a loss for something different to drink!
Crisp refreshing Lager –The bar features two brands of Kronenbourg lager with slightly different tastes on the
Palette. Kronenbourg Red is a lighter and sweeter lager, while Kronenbourg 1664 is a slightly heavier lager popular with the French clientele. We also have a range of bottled beers and ciders, including popular worldwide favourites such as Budweiser and Corona.
French and New World Wine -Recently upgraded is the wine list which now features a much wider range of white and red wines, including some of the best examples of their class and region from France. Also available are some New World wines, harder to find in France but worth the effort. These include South African and Australian choices. Please see our complete wine-list. Our house wines are available by the bottle or glass in the bar, or take-away with a pizza.
British and Irish Ales–The bar has two ales on tap not frequently found in France, and always tries to vary the selection to provide variety for regular customers. Currently we have both Guiness and Kilkenny Irish Ale available by the glass. We also have a Belgian Ale – Duvel - available by the bottle, not to be taken lightly!
The Tastes of France –If you’re new to France, ask to try something traditional that the local French have favoured over the years, such as Picon Biere, or a variety of different Pastis drinks with peculiar names. We also have Cognac, Armagnac and the a distinctly French aperitif selection.
Imported Whisky –Catered to the tastes of the holiday-maker, we have a wide selection of single and double malt whiskies, as well as several blends to sample, at very reasonable prices. The vast majority of these whiskies are not available in France.
Flavoured Shots –a late-night and seasonaire favourite, we have a range of specially mixed vodka and rum based shots with secret recipes. At just 3,00 € per shot, they’re a great way to kick a holiday into high gear.
